Anarchist is a small denim studio working in limited runs. One workshop, a fixed set of patterns, and no restocks once a run sells out.
The short version
Why the runs stay small
We started because the denim we wanted did not exist at a price that made sense: heavyweight selvedge, cut close, finished the way a tailor would finish it rather than the way a factory line can afford to.
Every piece is cut from a single fabric lot and sewn by the same team, start to finish. That caps how much we can make in a month, and we would rather hold the cap than move production somewhere it stops being ours.
Nothing is repeated exactly. When a run is gone it is gone; the pattern may come back in a different wash, on a different fabric, with the fit corrected wherever the last run told us it needed correcting.
